Mr. Deji Alli is a Director, ARM Pension Managers and has been the Managing Director of Asset & Resource Management Company Limited (ARM Investment Managers) since 1994. Deji’s investment management career started in 1986, when he worked for 6 years as a fixed income Fund Manager with the Prudential Portfolio Managers Limited, U.K, one of Britain’s largest institutional investment management companies. He was later in charge of the Risk Management division responsible for the assessment of the UK corporate and municipal debt issues.

At Prudential, he was responsible for the management of a number of Sterling-denominated and multi-currency fixed income portfolios. Subsequently, he became a specialist in the burgeoning Euro-convertible bond market, using hybrid securities as a vehicle for outperforming typical UK Fixed Income Pension Funds. Deji later joined the Treasury Department of the triple A-rated African Development Bank where he was a member of the team responsible for managing the institution’s US$8.5 billion liability portfolio. He was also responsible for conducting primary funding activities in the major capital markets where the bank actively borrowed. While at the ADB, he successfully raised $2 billion in the international capital markets on behalf of the bank.

Deji has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a post-graduate degree in Finance from the University of Lagos. He is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK.
