Effective March 1, 2012, we welcome Mr. Olayiwola Afolabi and Mr. Oladapo Akisanya to the ARM Pensions board as Executive Director Operations, and Executive Director Technical respectively. As Executive Director Operations, Layi is responsible for the Financial Control, Benefit Administration, Fund Accounting, Contribution Processing/Reconciliation, Information & Communications Technology (ICT), and Human Resources & Administration segments of the business. Layi, a pioneer staff of ARM Pensions since 2005, has shown consistent commitment to the Firm in discharging his responsibilities as the Head of Finance. He brings to bear a strong background in Finance, spanning a 22 year career. Dapo, Executive Director Technical, has oversight of the Investment Management, Business Development & Relationship Management, and Risk Management departments. Dapo joins us from his role as Head, Investment Management at Asset & Resource Management Company Limited (ARM) – the parent Firm to ARM Pensions, where he has dutifully served in multiple roles over the years. He comes on board with diverse experience in financial services, which include roles in audit, consulting, credit analysis and risk management, credit origination, financial analysis, investment research, and portfolio management. I am confident that the two newly appointed Executive Directors will continue to help propel the ARM Pensions business to greater heights with dedicated, quality service.
